Carb-phobia is still real yo. Theyve had a seriously hard time over the years – constantly being cut and ‘eliminated In truth no food is inherently good or bad – carbs included. (Even refined/processed/simple carbs ) And as with all foods certain carbs will be more beneficial to our physical health and other carbs will be less so. This doesnt mean both cant be present in a balanced diet Different carbohydrates will have a different effect on things like our energy levels hunger satiety and happiness (v important.) Sometimes a 3 bean salad will feel more appropriate other times a double dipped chocolate spread doughnut will. (Or 2. #AboutLastFriday.)
